A slight change to how Texas enrollments are processed.  

Fraudulent enrollments by brokers and sales associates have been a challenge throughout the Texas retail energy market. Slamming, misleading sales tactics, improper use of customer data – behaviors that are not only illegal, but are antithetical to our commitment to honesty, transparency, and customer empowerment.   

That’s why we’re adding an extra step to the Texas enrollment process as a guardrail against these behaviors – a small adjustment that’s being implemented to protect our customers, our EAs, and Think Energy as a whole.    

Moving forward, a member of the Think Energy team will call new Texas-based customers to verify and confirm their enrollments. Once they do, the process will move forward as it always has.   

We don’t expect this to cause any issues, and appreciate your understanding as we continue to cultivate an environment of trust and compliance.
